GelScore is a computer application that allows researchers to accurately and quickly decipher score visual data from Radiation Hybrid agarose gel images. GelScore overlays a resizable grid onto the gel image allowing the researcher to visually select the cell states according to the intensity of the PCR bands. Once all of the desired cell states have been selected, the researcher can save the resulting scoring data to a text file.CONTENT

The features mapped can be whatever is desired such as genes, SNPs, or markers. A sample gene map created by Genetic MapCreator is shown on the right.
